431 mile route from Carlisle to Inverness, via Galloway, Ayrshire and Glasgow (Southern map), then Callander, Pitlochrie and Aviemore (Northern map). A ride of extraodinary range, from the coasts and hills of southern Scotland, through the wild, high Cairngorm mountains. Clyde to Forth

171 mile route from the west to east coasts of Scotland, passing through Glasgow and Edinburgh. Starting at Gourok on the Clyde, with views across to the Highlands, the route follows a traffic-free path almost to the centre of Glasgow, then follows the river Clyde east of the city. Beyond Airdrie another traffic-free route carries you across the central plateau through a much admired sculpture trail. Then down through a country park and canalside trails into Edinburgh.
